BUCHAREST, Romania, January 21 (SeeNews) – Real estate company RE / MAX Romania announced on Thursday that it had brokered 5,000 real estate transactions valued at 200 million euros (243 million US dollars) in 2020.
Around 72% of the total transactions involved residential real estate, the company said in a press release.
The total commissions received by the broker in Romania increased by 30% annually over the past year and reached 5.5 million euros.
The largest transaction that RE / MAX Romania brokered last year was worth 2.5 million euros and concerned a residential building. Most of the transactions were for properties in Bucharest, Cluj and Brasov.
“Like everyone else, we felt the effects of the pandemic, but we were also looking for a way. So we reorganized the business and focused more on online. We invested more in digitization, education and customer experience, which we want to develop further this year too « said RE / MAX Romania President Razvan Cuc.
In 2021, RE / MAX Romania aims to close 6,500 deals and generate sales of over 7 million euros.
RE / MAX Romania currently operates 50 offices and employs 600 real estate agents. At the end of 2019, RE / MAX Romania announced that a total of 110 franchise offices and over 1,000 real estate agents would be targeted across the country by 2023.
