Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company recently announced its new digital education platform for insurance brokers to provide additional support to these partners.

This new tool provides convenient access to on-demand training tools and modules.

The new Wawanesa training platform for insurance brokers is designed to provide education in an effective, efficient and convenient way. This platform, called “Broker Continuing Education”, offers training opportunities exactly when the partners need it. While it is already filled with a number of different courses, the intent is to keep it updated so that its value and support to partners continues to grow.

The new training platform is available to brokers who prefer to complete their training on laptops and desktop computers, but it is also available on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to ensure that they are convenient and accessible for professionals on their preferred devices.

The Wawanesa Insurance Broker Education Platform is now available to all partners and their teams.

Since the official start of the Wawanesa Broker Continuing Education on January 7, it has been available to all broker partners of the insurer and the members of their teams.

« The advice and expertise of independent insurance brokers has never been more important, » said Graham Haigh, vide president of broker distribution at Wawanesa. Haigh said the previous training program at the insurer delivered nearly 350 courses to more than 20,000 people. However, the newly introduced platform is to be used to build support for partner brokers beyond this basis. The hope is « to equip them with better digital training tools to provide excellent service to our mutual policyholders ».

The idea is to contact the brokers first when designing the training programs.
